Lymphedema Therapist, UHS Binghamton General HospitalShiftDayHours per week:40Salary range:$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience.OverviewUnited Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Lymphedema Therapist to join our Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation team at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. The successful candidate will be a licensed Occupational or Physical Therapist with a Lymphedema Therapy Certification. Licensed OTs and PTs who are pursing their Lymphedema Therapy Certification may be considered for the role if they meet other qualifications and intend to become certified within 3 months of employment. Our PT and Rehabilitation team provides not only exceptional care for their patients, but also access to innovative therapies and new models of carethey are often recognized for their individual career pursuits and accomplishments, sharing their knowledge and skills in service of their patients each day.Job ResponsibilitiesIn this role, youll make a real impact by providing specialized care to patients with lymphedema, guiding them through their treatment journey, and advocating for their long-term well-being.Perform comprehensive patient evaluations Review medical histories, interpret physician prescriptions, and assess a patients strengths, limitations, and goals to develop a personalized care plan.Provide expert lymphedema treatment Utilize Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) techniques, including manual lymph drainage, multilayer bandaging, and customized compression garment selection and fitting.
