PNK Group is an engineering and production company which conducts technological development in the field of industrial construction. PNK Group as an investor finances the implementation of its projects, as a developer organizes construction, as an engineering company designs the building and as a general contractor erects multipurpose industrial buildings from large-unit blocks produced at its own plants. PNK group is looking for an exceptional Earthworks Forman to join our construction team. This person is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of jobs within PNK's Earthworks Division specifically resource planning, organization and execution of all operational projects. Responsibilities: Ensure a safe, healthy, and secure work environment by following and enforcing safety regulations and protocols Coordinating work activities with other construction projects, and estimating material and worker requirements Developing crew work schedules, monitoring attendance, and allocating daily responsibilities Motivating and encouraging high-quality work, and supporting laborers in completing their tasks Communicating clearly with managers, personnel, contractors, and customers Troubleshooting problems when they arise, and preparing reports on progress to managers, engineers, and other stakeholders Handling conflict between the foreman, clients, crew members, or management Preparing site safety, security, and maintenance of traffic and storm water pollution plans Reading, understanding, and interpreting drawings and specification Requirements: Construction and excavation: 5 years (preferred) Earthworks Construction and Excavation Foreman: 5 years (preferred) Earthworks Project Management: 2 years (preferred) Strong ability to build professional relationships Proven mentoring and leadership development skills Ability to work within tight deadlines and thrive under pressure Previous estimating experience is an asset Strong computer skills in MS Office Strong attention to detail and possesses a solid work ethic Effective leading and managing teams while overseeing project progression.
