Food Service Manager
Position Summary:
$16-$20 an hour
Responsible to ensure that the food service operation is safe,
profitable, and meets or exceeds set goals and budgets. Show a
commitment to individual store employee development based on
employee training. Maintain a high level of customer service, and
overall company success. Must manage the food service concept by
demonstration of expertise in food safety, food service financial
management, inventory control, employee training and development,
and ensure employees maintain professional guest interaction and
portray company image with proper uniform standards.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum one year experience as a Cliff's Local Markets Sales
Associate or one year experience in Food Service and the restaurant
industry, preferred. Successful completion of all company sponsored
Sales Associate, applicable RTO and food related training. Ability
to provide exceptional customer service. Candidate may also be
required to successfully complete additional certifications for
this position to include, but not limited to ServSafe or equivalent
Food Service program, franchise specific certification (e.g.
Subway), Alcohol Certification (ABC) and Tobacco Certification.
Major Accountabilities:
Perform employee interviews and selection of Food Service
personnel. Perform employee reviews, evaluate employee productivity
and efficiency, and recommend employees for promotions or any other
changes in status. Develop work schedules that do not exceed labor
hours budget. Employee training to standards set forth by training
aids and manual. Direct and plan employees' work to coincide with
the Food Service concepts as defined by the branding entity.
Maintain sales goals and margin goals. Administer disciplinary
action when warranted and determine proper action to take within
the guidelines of company policy. Accountable to the Store Manager.
Determine and order the food and supplies necessary to maintain
appropriate levels. Employee must be actively involved in food
safety training according to Federal, State and local laws, rules
and regulations. Interact with Federal, State, County or local
representatives to maintain all necessary certifications and follow
all safety for employees and the general public. Coordinate sales
promotion activities and manage customer complaints.

abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required to work 35-40 hours per week.

usually moderate. Candidate must have flexibility to work all
shifts and all days of the week, when necessary. Ability to
