GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg

• Start Date: 05/05/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 35 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel12-hour Nights - weekend, holiday, and call required
  RN should be comfortable floating to Med/Surg and PCU
  Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  Travelers must hold a CURRENT NY license.
  Coronary Care experience is needed as well
  A traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment.
  First-time travelers will NOT be considered.
  Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.
  BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
  Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
  Must recognize safety issues for self and others and be able to assess and implementthe use of lifts to move patients in a safe manner.
  Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative problem-solving skills.
  Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
  May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.
