About the RoleCorning Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a CNA at our skilled nursing facility, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our residents in achieving their full potential.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSome of your key responsibilities as a CNA will include:

• Observing and reporting on resident health and well-being to the supervising nurse
• Providing personal care and hygiene for residents, including bed baths, shaving, and other essential tasks
• Preparing and serving meals, and documenting food and fluid intake
• Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
• Transporting residents within the facility, as needed
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility dataRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Current certification as a CNA in the state of New York
  • Successful completion of a CNA program
