Nurse Supervisor Opportunity at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab CenterBetsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed facility offering excellence in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a lovely homelike environment. Our skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals assist residents in achieving optimal health and well-being through a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.The RN Supervisor is responsible for the operation of the nursing department and facility, organizing and maintaining staffing guidelines to meet resident needs. This leader will communicate and ensure that policies, procedures, practices, objectives, and goals are carried out to attain maximum resident care.Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, oversee, and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments.
• Identify and respond to patient needs in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and other vendors and services regarding ongoing or planned care.
• Perform RN assessments of residents following incidents or changes in condition.
• Lead and direct emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate nursing reports, staffing sheets, and census rosters.Requirements:
  • Current and good standing RN License in the State of New York.
  • Experience with geriatric and short-term rehab patients is desirable.
  • Progressive nursing experience and supervisory experience are preferred.
  • Dedication to providing quality, compassionate care to each resident.
  • Interest in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly residents.
  • Patience and willingness to assist residents and coworkers.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and harmoniously with all staff.
