Job Title: RN SupervisorAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of the nursing department and facility, organizing and maintaining staffing guidelines to meet resident needs.Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee assigned unit activities and staff assignments, demonstrating clinical expertise consistent with established standards of Nursing Practice.
• Identify and respond appropriately and timely to patient needs.
• Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed.
• Communicate and direct services ongoing or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff as needed.
• Identify and follow disciplinary action as stated in policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, and other vendors'/services.
• Perform RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition.
• Lead and direct emergency situations - (Fire alarm, Elopement, etc.).
• Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, and census roster.Requirements:
  • Current and good standing RN License in State of New York.
  • Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable.
  • Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred.
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident.
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly.
  • Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff.
