Nursing Department Operations and Staff Management RN Supervisor PositionBetsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed facility offering excellence in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a lovely homelike environment. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of the nursing department and facility, organizing and maintaining staffing guidelines to meet resident needs.Key Responsibilities:

• RN Supervisor organizes, oversees, and supervises assigned unit activities and staff assignments, demonstrating clinical expertise consistent with established nursing standards.
• Identify and respond timely to patient needs, monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed, communicate and direct services ongoing or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and other vendors/services, lead and direct emergency situations, and maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, and census roster.Requirements:
  • Current and good standing RN License in State of New York.
  • Experience with geriatric/short-term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable.
  • Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred.
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident.
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly.
  • Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff.
